As the second module in SLTA’s diploma curriculum, this Introduction to the Old Testament offers valuable insights into the vast array of writings found in the Old Testament (OT), including prose, poetry, prophecy, and much more. In all these writings, we see both how Christ is at center of the OT and how the OT is ultimately fulfilled in Him. Pastor Paul Willweber offers considerable expertise in this field. Reformation Theology

This ten week course offers an intense and insightful introduction to the theology and history of the Reformation of the medieval church which had lost its roots in Holy Scripture and thus lost its way. Pastor Mark Menacher is well placed to convey not only what happened during the Reformation but also why it happened and, perhaps most importantly, why it is still important and relevant for the church of today. The course begins on Sunday, 21 January 2024, 4:00-5:30 pm. $25.00 registration fee.

The Lutheran Difference

There are many Christian denominations, and they all have unique perspectives on the doctrine and life of the church. This course shows what makes Lutherans distinct from other Christian denominations and traditions by exploring the unique ways that Lutherans understand and apply God’s word compared to other theological traditions.
